4. Account & Billing

Hosting plans and design services are billed as per the selected package.
Payment must be made in advance for the duration of the service period.
Late or failed payments may result in service suspension or cancellation.
All fees are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to VAT where applicable.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel hosting or design services at any time by contacting us.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new hosting plans (first-time purchases only).
Refunds are not available for domain names, SSL certificates, or after 14 days of service use.

6. Website Content & Backups

You are responsible for maintaining a backup of your website content.
While we take regular server backups, we do not guarantee data recovery.
We are not liable for data loss, corruption, or service interruptions beyond our control.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen issues may result in downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of planned outages.

8. Intellectual Property

All design work and custom development created by Dorset Web Host remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. After full payment, rights are transferred to the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dorset Web Host shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential loss or damage
Loss of data, profits, or revenue
Downtime caused by third-party providers or events outside our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law
